Position Purpose:

The training specialist is an integral part of the TGG U team. This person is responsible for building, refining, and delivering accounting learning content to internal and external participants. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and public speaking skills and a blend of experience in accounting and finance and facilitating training programs.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Design, develop and implement training curriculum, seminars, and educational resources
  • Develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities
  • Create and develop training materials, retention exercises, and learning activities
  • Continually revise course curriculum to ensure content is up to date and relevant
  • Assist in build-out of e-learnings

Qualifications

  • Understanding of managerial and financial accounting principles normally represented by a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combinations of industry experience and training
  • Experience in a classroom setting; taught workshops, seminars, etc. 1-2 years’ experience teaching adults preferred
  • Must be an entrepreneurial team-oriented person that thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, achieving personal and business goals
  • A desire to succeed, excellent work ethic, solid interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of PowerPoint (specifically design tools)
  • High proficiency in Excel (e.g. sumIF, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
